Funeral services for Mrs. C D Nelson, Center City, were held this afternoon from Chisago Lake Church, Dr A N Nelson officiating, Musical numbers were sung by Mrs. Carrie Johnson and the church quartette.
Mrs. Nelson died Sunday evening March 24 at the age of 65 after an illness of several years. She was living with her sister Mrs. Mathilda Holm at the time of her death.
Mrs. Nelson was born in Ronneby, Bleiken, Sweden on April 20, 1869. She came to this country with her parents when she was three years of age. In November, 1897, she was married to C D Nelson at Center City. Mr. Nelson died in 1923.
Throughout her lifetime Mrs. Nelson was a member of the Chisago Lake Church. She is survived by four children, Mrs. Ralph Johnson, William, George and Carl Nelson of Lindstrom, Fred Nelson of Center City and her sister Mrs. Holm.
Pallbearers were Charles Mattson, Elmer Johnson, Harris Johnson, August Johnson, A K Lindblom and E A Jonason, L N Westberg was in charge of the arrangements
