Peter S Dahlberg departed this life last Sunday morning after attaining the very advanced age of 94 years, 7 months and 12 days. He was the "grand old Man" of Center City and has been for many years enjoying exceptionally good health and was in younger days a singularly strong and active man. Together with an aged wife who now survives him, this good old couple have been living all alone on a little farm about one mile north of Center City, where they have been spending most of their time raising berries.
Mr. Dahlberg was born in Backeryrd, Smaland, July 4, 1818, and was therefore 94 years, 7 months and 12 days old. He is survived by an aged widow, Mrs. Peter S Dahlberg, a son S J Dahlberg, who resides in North Dakota and two daughters, Mrs. Andrew Holm of St Paul and Mrs. C D Nelson of Center City. The funeral was held last Tuesday afternoon at 2:00, Rev Eckman officiating, Since his arrival to this country in 1872, Mr. Dahlberg has been a faithful member of the Lutheran Church in Center City attending services, there until shortly before his demise.
