In her father's Oct. 16, 1822 will. "I give and bequeath to my daughter Esther Peden, my black girl named Mary, my black mare and two cows of her own choice out of my stock of cattle, also six hundred dollars to be paid to her by my executors at the expiration of two years from my decease, also a brown bureau which she now claims and two feather beds with the necessary bedding."
Later on in the will she was also to receive a division of other funds. Esther was single and living at home at this time.
She married Jesse Frazure on Feb. 3, 1825, in Friendly, Tyler Co. WV. Marriage solemized by Isaac Reynolds, minister of the Gospel.
There is a record of Jesse Frazure being married to Diodemia McCardle in 1827 in Tyler Co. WV. Perhaps Esther died and he remarried, it is unlikely that there was another Jesse Frazure in the same county.
