Grace Samantha Bucklew Baylor, age 89, a lifetime resident of Preston County in Newburg, WV since 1939, died Thursday, June 16, 2005 at the Wallace Murphy Center in Grafton, WV.

She was born April 19, 1916 in Gladesville, WV a daughter of the late Ohley and Annie Elizabeth “Bessie” Holmes Bucklew.

She is survived by her daughter, Edythe Loraine Baylor House; her son, James Morgan Baylor; three sisters, Helen Rohr, Thelma McMellon, and Dollie Turner,; two brothers, Dalton Bucklew and George “Bud” Bucklew; two grandsons, William House and Thomas House.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William Lawson Baylor in 1995; one daughter, Mary Louise Kostolni; six sisters and three brothers.

Friends will be received at the Rotruck-Lobb Funeral Home, Kingwood Chapel on Monday, June 20, 2005.. Funeral services will be conducted in the funeral home chapel on Monday, June 20, 2003 at 1:00 pm with Rev. Robert Sisler officiating. Interment will be in the Gladesville Cemetery in Gladesville.
