MRS. STOCKOVER PASSES BEYOND
Mrs. Ida Stockover, 48, wife of Charles Stockover, and life long resident of the county, died yesterday afternoon at 4:30 o'clock at the family home in Garden City. She had been ill for more than a year and for the past eight weeks her condition had been critical.

Funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Tabernacle Christian church, conducted by the Rev. T.K. Smith.

Mrs. Stockover was born in the Ogilville community and lived there until 16 years ago when she and her family moved to Garden City. She was a member of the Christian church and a highly esteemed woman. She was especially devoted to her home and family and was much beloved by all who knew her.

Surviving are her husband and mother, Mrs. Mary Merritt, and five children, Edwin Duane, Donald, Geraldine, Mary Helen and Imogene. There are also a brother, William Merritt, of this city; two half-brothers, Jeff and Albert, of Ogilville; two sisters, Miss Alice Merritt, of this city, and Mrs. Carl Benson of Indianapolis, and three half-sisters, Mrs. Joe Beatty, of Missouri; Mrs. Willard Ault, of Garden City, and Mrs. Ed Thomas, of Ogilville.
