Former Anna Merritt Dies
Mrs. Anna Beattie, 94, native of Columbus, died at 3:30 o'clock this morning at her home in Savannah, Mo. She had lived in Missouri since she was a young girl.
Born in Columbus, Mrs. Beattie was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Merritt. Her husband, Joseph Beattie, died several years ago.
Mrs. Beattie's survivors include two brothers and two sisters living here, Jeff Merritt, Albert Merritt, Miss Alice Merritt, and Mrs. Maude Thomas of Route 7.
Other survivors are two daughters in Savannah, Mrs. Lillie Macbeath and Mrs. Lizzie Finchum.
Funeral arrangements will be announced later.
