John "Jack" Majesky, 90, of St. Joseph's Residence, fomerly of Conkle Avenue in Union Township, died at 12:15 p.m. on Nov. 3, 1992, in Jameson Memorial Hospital.

He was born in New Castle on Nov. 13, 1901, to Herman and Mary Henny Majesky.

His wife, Nettie Hartzell Majesky, died April 1, 1967.

A retired painter, Mr. Majesky had worked for verious contractors. He belonged to Brotherhood of Painters and Allied Trades Local 1066.

He was a member of Washington Union Alliance Church and Masonic Lodge 433.

Surviving is a brother, Walter Majesky of Clarksburg, W.Va.; two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Sally Hudson in 1991; a granddaugther, Sharon Hite in 1991; a sister, Emma Peterman; and a brother, Edward Majesky.

Arrangements are by the Turner-Myers Funeral Home Inc., 208 N. Jefferson St., where visitation will be observed 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. tomorrow. A service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home by the Rev. Ronald Milley, pastor of Washington Union Alliance Church. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery.
