Frederick William "Fred" Klahold, of Kresta Dr,, York, Pennsylvania, at the age of 60, died Sunday afternoon, March 19, 1989, at the York Hospital, Fred was born Nov 4, 1928 in York County, PA; to the late Gerhart Carl Klahold Sr. and is survived by his mother Katherine Rebecca (Carlson) Klahold. He was head of the 2nd shift maintenance sept. at D. F. Stauffer Biscuit Company, York, PA; Fred had also worked as a paper maker, first with The Yorktowne Paper Mills in York, PA; and then with Federal Paper Board Company in Sinking Springs, PA; and then at the White Hall Maryland Plant, all from 1936 thru 1983, Fred also had a 100+ acres Dairy Farm for about 12- 15 years, just off of Taylor Hill Road, New Freedom, PA; He was a U. S. Marine Corp Veteran of the Korean War. Fred is survived by his wife, Marguerite June (Sites) Klahold, his two daughters, Linda J. Shaffer and Donna K. Davis and two son's Brent R. Klahold and Carl W. Klahold. He is also survived by his brother's, Gerhart C. Klahold Jr, Walter E. Klahold, Lester E. Klahold, David A. Klahold, James K. Klahold and Philp S. Klahold and his sister, Flo E. Siegfreid. He loved the Beach and went as often as he could go to Rehoboth Beach DE; Burial will be in the Prospect Hill Cemetery, York, PA;
