JENNIE BOYER

Mrs. Boyer, 92, of McKee died at 11:33 p.m. Monday, March 26, 1984, in her home. She was born Nov. 26, 1891, in Puzzletown, the daughter of Lloyd A. and Emma (Butler) Shaw, and April 7, 1913, in Hollidaysburg, married Harvey Boyer, who died Jan. 27, 1944. Surviving are six children: Alma Burk and Marian Stevenson of East Freedom RD, Marie McMullen of Tyrone, Wilbur and Raymond of Duncansville RD and Ruth Corl of Imler; 21 grandchildren, 41 great-grandchildren and 19 great-great-grandchildren. Also surviving are two sisters: Lillie Kunsman of Hollidaysburg and Annie Burket of East Freedom RD. Mrs. Boyer was a member of the Dry Run Gospel Tabernacle, Duncansville RD. Friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday in the J. Gary Thompson Funeral Home, Roaring Spring, and from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday in the Dry Run Gospel Tabernacle.

BOYER -- Services for Jennie Boyer of McKee will be held at 2 p.m. Friday in the Dry Run Gospel Tabernacle, Duncansville RD, by the Rev. Bruce Weil. Interment in Greenlawn Cemetery, Roaring Spring. Friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday in the J. Gary Thompson Funeral Home, Roaring Spring, and from 11 a.m. until time of services Friday in the Tabernacle. A son, Melvin, died Aug. 11, 1979.
