SAMUEL SHAW

Of McKee, died at 12.30 p.m. yesterday in the Nason Hospital, Roaring Spring, after an extended illness. He was born at McKee on Aug. 18, 1884, a son of Lloyd and Emma (Butler) Shaw. Surviving are three children, Mrs. Helen Gardner of Altoona, Mrs. Hazel Mallon of Sykesville, Md., and Kenneth of Roaring Spring RD; four grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and six brothers and sisters, Harry of Newry, Mrs. Jennie Boyer, with whom he resided, Mrs. Lillian Kunsman and Elmer of Hollidaysburg, Mrs. Annie Burket of East Freedom and John of Duncansville. He attended the Dry Run Gospel Tabernacle and was a retired farmer. Friends will be received in the Barefoot Funeral Home, East Freedom, after 7 p.m. today.

SHAW--Services for Samuel Shaw of McKee, will be held in the Dry Run Gospel Tabernacle at 2 p.m. Thursday by the Rev. Lou Shaw. Interment in the church cemetery. Friends will be received in the Barefoot Funeral Home, East Freedom, after 7 p.m. today.
