RUTH LANE

Ruth Hansen Lane, 76, of Montpelier and recently Rexburg, died October 16, 1991.

She was born April 10, 1915, in Garden City, Ut., to Charles Augustus and Emma Vilate Hansen. She was raised in Garden City. At the age of 18 she moved to Montpelier. She married Harold Edwin Lane August 10, 1935, at Montpelier. The marriage was later solemnized June 7, 1955, in the Logan Temple.

She was an active member of the LDS Church, and served as secretary of the senior citizens organization in Montpelier for many years, and for 27 years she was a housekeeper at Bear Lake Memorial Hospital. For the past two and one-half years, she had lived in Rexburg with her daughter.

Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Dale (Shirley) Greenhalth of Rexburg, Gloria Ann Grunig of Pocatello, and Mrs. Lawrence (Karen) Fretwell of Rick Springs, WY.; 11 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband.
