She was united in marriage to H.A. Lasswell on Jan. 24, 1886, to which were born 5 children, one baby boy preceded her in death in 1887. She leaves a fond husband and four little children and a dear mother, four brothers and two sisters with a host of other friends who will greatly miss her.
Sister Lasswell was converted and united with the Methodist Church fifteen years ago this winter and has lived a consistent Christian life ever since. Her life was one of loving and kindness and to know her was to love her.
May our Blessed Lord confort those that mourn and help them to that life here that will enable them to meet her in the life beyond. The funeral services were conducted by the writer, at the Mr. Olive Church Jan. 2nd, and notwithstanding the terrible storm that day, there was a large gathering present to pay their last sad rites of respect of a departed friend.
