One of Kansas pioneer teachers, she taught 20 years in the schools of Jackson County and Pottawatamie County. In 1913 she was married to R.C. Coverdale. He died in 1920.
She was a member of the Havensville Methodist Church. Survivors are her brother, Frnak Graham, Soldier, Kansas, and several nieces and nephews.
For the past two years she has lived in the home of her niece, Mrs. R.C. Ketterman of Summerfield, Kansas.
Funeral services were held at the M.E. Church at Havensville on Nov. 9. Rev. Holter conducted the service. Mrs. Holter accompanied by Miss Hazel McKee, furnished the music.
Pallbearers were Roscoe Bahret, Elmer Patrick, Harley Davis, Lota McKee, Russell Sumner, and Galen Eddy.
She was buried in the Havensville Cemetery. The Padden Funeral Home had charge of the arrangements.
