TRENTON
Leo Bowman, 68, was found dead at his Route 2, MT pleasant home Saturday, Henry County Medial Examiner Dr. Warren Scott established the date of death was apparently due to natural causes.

Funeral services for Mr. Bowman will be held Tuesday,1:30 p.m., at Green Mound Church of God with the Revs. Ralph Draper and Eric Hunt officiating. Burial will be in the Green Mound Cemetery. A family visitation will be held tonight from 7 to 8 p.m. at Beatty Funeral Home, Mt. Pleasant. Memorials will be given to the family.

Mr. Bowman was born July 23, 1916, at Glenwood, Mo., to Pearly and Zepha Stogdill Bowman. In 1940 he was married to Nola Haney.

Mr. Bowman was employed at IAAP, the Burlington ordinance plant,until ill health forced his retirement in 1968.

Survivors include three daughters, Vickie Sinn of Wayland, Marilyn Harris, Big Springs, Texas, and Connie Lyons, Springfield, Colo.,; fours sons-Ronnie of Cantonment, Fla., Lonnie, Mark and Rick all of Garden City, Kans.; a brother, Donald Bowman, Mt. Pleasant; two sisters, Lucille Gillispie, rural route Mt. Pleasant and Dorothy Throckmorton. , Ottumwa; a stepbrother and stepsister, Paul Stogdill. and Margaret Stogdill, both of Bloomfield; 20 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
