Donald D. Bowman obituary:


Donald D. Bowman, 61, Mardan Trailer Court, died Sunday, Sept. 29, 1985, at11:10a.m. at Mount Pleasant.
He was born July 29, 1924, at West Grove, the son of Pearly Bowman and Zepha Stogdill Bowman. On Dec. 13, 1950, he married Betty Nicholson at Perryton, Texas.
Mr. Bowman was employed by the I.A.A.P. and served in the U.S. Army. He attended the Faith Christian Outreach Center.
Surviving are his wife Betty, two sisters, Lucille Gillispie of Trenton, Iowa and Dorothy Throckmorton of Ottumwa, Iowa, step-sister, Margaret Stogdill and step-brother, Paul Stogdill, both of Bloomfield, Iowa.
His parents, two brothers, Leo Calvin, and Charles, , a step-sister, Alice Ritz, and a step-brother, and Walter Stogdill preceded him in death.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Oct.2, at 2 p.m. at the Faith Christian Outreach Center. Pastors Gary Crowl and Dennis Thomas will officiate with interment in the Forest Home Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the Beatty Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be John Cole, Everett Helms, Don Kelly, Tom Lynchard, Ray Moffett and Jay Rohlfus.
