Pearl Hubbard

Mrs. Pearl M. (Peg) Hubbard, 71, of Triadelphia, W.Va., formerly of Line St., Chester, died Thursday at 8 p.m. at the Wheeling Medical Center after taking ill earlier. Mrs. Hubbard was born Sept. 6, 1906, in Hookstown, a daughter of Bert Allison and Vean White Allison. She retired in 1972 from the Taylor, Smith, and Taylor Co. after 24 years' service. She was a member of the Chester First Christian Church. Her husband, Raymond A. Hubbard, died March 20, 1965. Survivors include five sons, Cecil R. Hubbard of Miami, Fla., Richard B. Hubbard of Jacksonville, Fla., Thomas R. Hubbard of East Liverpool, James H. Hubbard of Hookstown and Keith E. Hubbard of Boston, Mass.; four daughters, Mrs. Rose (Pat) Bacon of Chester, Mrs. James (Linda) Graham of Newton Falls, Mrs. Robert (Sandy) Gray of East Liverpool and Mrs. Richard (Ruby Jane) Scott, with whom she resided; seven brothers, Earl Allison, Claud Allison and James Allison, all of Chester, Clair Allison of Hookstown, Arthur Allison and Wilbur Allison, both of Beaver and Dwight Allison of Akron; two sisters, Mrs. Robert (Virginia) Allison and Mrs. Kenneth (Maude) Aten, both of Florida, 28 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Services will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. from the Arner Funeral Chapel in Chester by the Rev. Hoyt Allen. Burial will be in Locust Hill Cemetery. Friends may call at the chapel Saturday afternoon and night, where the family will be present from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., and Sunday up until time of the service.
