O B I T U A R Y

Mr. George Henry Dangerfield of Greensburg, Kentucky son of the late William Henry Dangerfield and Ada Simpson Dangerfield, was born on Thursday, November 20, 1924 in Green County, Kentucky, and passed away on Saturday, March 9, 2013 at the Jane Todd Crawford Hospital in Greensburg. He was 88 years, three months and 17 days of age.

He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was of the Baptist faith. He has worked as a farmer and carpenter for many years. He was also a Veteran of World War II having served in United States Army-Air Force.

Mr. Dangerfield was united in marriage to Dorothy Jones Dangerfield on January 28, 1942 who preceded him in death on July 77, 1998.

Survivors include a son & daughter-in-law: Billy & Lorraine Dangerfield of Greensburg; three grandchildren: Karen Hardin of Madison, Indiana, Melinda Dangerfield of Cave City and Annette Dangerfield of Greensburg; his daughter-in-law: Gloria Jean Dangerfield of Cave City, his brother-in-law: John Jones of Louisville and a host of other relatives and friends.

He was also preceded in death by two sons: George Henry Dangerfield, Jr. who passed away as an infant and Samuel Udell Dangerfield who passed away on December 24, 2010.

The funeral services for Mr. George Henry Dangerfield will be conducted at 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, March 12, 2013, at the Cowherd & Parrott Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Davenport Cemetery. Bro. Larry Wisdom and Bro. Timmy Glass will be officiating.

Visitation will be from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Monday at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home and after 7:00 A.M. Tuesday until time of the funeral service.

Memorials are suggested to the Gideon Bible Fund and may be made at the funeral home.
