Dolly Harden
Dolly M. (Ayers) Harden, 79, Nashville, passed away at her home on July 18, 2012. She was the daughter of William Bryan and Eva Mildred (Mount) Ayers. They preceded her in death. Dolly was born Oct. 4, 1932, in Storyville, In. in Brown County.
Dolly was a former nurses' aid at Arbutus Nursing Home in Bloomington and Brown County Health & Living in Nashville and was a former employee of Sarkes Tarzian in Bloomington. She was a member of Duncan Community Church. Dolly loved spending time with her grandchildren and she loved animals.
Survivors include her husband, James Harden of Nashville; daughters, Patricia Holt of Nashville, Evelyn (Marshall) Clifton of Vincennes, Angela (Pete) Wright of Kentucky, Peggy (Danny) Ratliff of Morgantown and Lori (Dennis) Cornelius of Nashville; sons, David (Pam) Stewart of Nashville, Darrell (Lou) Harden of Freetown and Steve (Cathy) Harden of Heltonville; sister, Mona Jean Reed of New Albany; 18 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, James Stewart; and a brother, Herman Ayers.
A funeral service will be held at Bond-Mitchell Funeral Home Saturday, July 21 at 1:30 P.M. with Rev. Herschel Joslin officiating. Burial will follow in Green Valley Cemetery. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home Friday, July 20 from 4-8 p.m.
