William Herman (Will) Mayfield was one of 11 children born to George Alexander (Sandy) Mayfield and Rebecca Ann (Becky) Crosby Mayfield.
Will married Frances C. (Fannie) Denton on
24 December 1914 in Roberts, Newton County, MS,
Book E, Page 427. They lived for a while at
Electric Mills, Kemper County, MS, Laurel, Jones County, MS and spent the rest of their lives at
Newton, Newton County, MS, where Will was employed
as a Foreman, Section Gang with the Railroad.
Will and Fannie had no children.
