OBITUARY - Great Bend Tribune
Harry Conrad Schwindt, 78, 1217 Bradley, Died March 12, 1991, at Central Kansas Medical Center. Born March 5, 1913, in LaCrosse, he had been a resident of Great Bend for three years having moved from Ness County. He married Dorothea Pratt July 28, 1934, in LaCrosse. He was a retired farmer and stockman.

Schwindt was a member of First Assembly of God Church and Men's Fellowship.

Survivors include his wife of the home; three sons, Keith and Dale, both of Alexander, and Herbert of Lombard, Ill.; one daughter, Connie Brown of Fort Collins, Colo.; two brothers, Herman Schwindt of LaCrosse and Clarence Schwindt of Bazine; three sisters, Sarah Sucht of Dodge City, Esther Phillips of Nekoma and Clara Scott of Guymon, Okla.; 13 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Funeral will be at 11:30 a.m. Friday at the church with the Rev. Larry Thomas officiating. Burial will be at Great Bend Cemetery. Friends may call until 9 tonight and from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday at Fryberger Mortuary and from 9-11 a.m. Friday at the church. Memorials are suggested to the church.

WILL CELEBRATE 59TH ANNIVERSARY

Mr. and Mrs. Harry C. Schwindt will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversay by renewing their wedding vows at the Assembely of God Church in Ness City, Kansas at 1:30 p.m., Saturday, July 28th, 1984. A reception will follow at the Saddle-Up Restaurant in Ness City from 2:30 to 4:00. Friends and relatives are invited. The celebrants request no gifts. Host for the occasion will be their children, Connie and Jim Brown, Loveland, Colo.; Herbert and Renee Schwindt, Lombard, Ill.; and Dale and Gloria Schwindt, Alexander, Kansas. Harry Schwindt and Dorothea Pratt were married in LaCrosse, Ks., July 28, 1934 and have resided in Rush and Ness counties since their marriage, retiring in 1977 to Ness City, Ks.
