OBITUARY
Esther E. Phillips

NEKOMA -- Esther E. Phillips, 93, died November 19 at Rush County Memorial Hospital in La Crosse, She was born November 20, 1911, at La Crosse, the daughter of Conrad and Katie Bott Schwindt. She married Daniel W. Phillips on May 17, 1936, at McCraken. He died March 19, 1982. Se was a homemaker and a life-time resident of Rush County.

Mrs. Phillips was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church in LaCrosse.

Survivors include one son, Ken Phillips of Nekoma; one brother, Clarence Schwindt of Bazine; and one sister, Sarah Sucht of Larned. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Herman Schwindt and Harry Schwindt; and two sisters, Clara Scott ad Bertha Collins.

Funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the church, with the Rev. Ed Jumper officiating. Burial will be at the Nekoma Cemetery in Nekoma. Friends may call from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. today at Morell Funeral Home in Larned, and from 9 a.m. until service time Wednesday at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the church in care of the funeral home.
