ELIZABETH M. PATE - CLOVERPORT, KY - Mrs. Elizabeth Monica Pate, 85, of Cloverport, Ky., died late Sunday at Medco Center in Hardinsburg, Ky. after a lengthy illness. She was born Oct. 29, 1887 in Cloverport, Ky. and was the daughter of the late Richard Mattingly and Bridget Sherran Mattingly. She was a member of St. Rose Catholic Church. Surviving are five sons: John and Clarence of Louisville; William of Paducah; Louis of Hardinsburg; and Leo of Cloverport. Seven daughters: Mrs. Martine Dorth, Mrs. Agnes Hanke, Mrs. Edith Weber, Mrs. Edna Hanke, and Mrs. Alice Hanke, all of Louisville; Mrs. Lois Kraus of Tell City, Ind.; and Mrs. Louise Hendrickson of Owensboro; 44 grandchildren and 52 great-grandchildren. Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the St. Rose Catholic Church with the Rt. Msgr. W. B. Jarboe officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Cloverport, Ky. Friends may call at the Harry L. Dhonau Funeral Home after noon today. Prayers will be said at 7 p.m. today at the funeral Home.
