CLOVERPORT - CLARENCE E. PATE, 79, of Cloverport, died there Monday, Dec. 2, 1985. He was born in Cloverport and was a member of St. Rose Catholic Church. Survivors include a daughter, Alma Nix of Tell City, Ind.; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; four brothers, John Pate of Louisville, Leo Pate of Cloverport, William A. Pate of Paducah and Lewis C. Pate of Fort Campbell; and six sisters, Agnes, Edna and Alice Hanke, Edith Weber and Martine Dorth, all of Louisville, and Lois Kraus of Tell City, Ind. Services are at 9 a.m. Wednesday at St. Rose Catholic Church, Cloverport. Graveside services are at 1 p.m. EST Wednesday at Louisville Memorial Gardens. Visitation after 2 p.m. today at Dhonau-Wallace Funeral Home, Cloverport, where prayers will be said at 7 p.m.
