CLOVERPORT - WILLIAM P. MATTINGLY, 77, of Cloverport, died early Thursday at Brandenburg Nursing Home. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Hugh Spicer of Tell City, Ind., and Mrs. Earl Henning of Cloverport; two sons, George of Brandenburg and Frederick of Cloverport; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and a sister, Mrs. Elizabeth Pate of Breck-Haven Nursing Home. The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Rose Catholic Church, with the Rt. Rev. Msgr. W. P. Jarboe, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Cloverport Cemetery (s/b Calvary Cemetery). Prayers will be said at 8 p.m. today at Harry L. Dhonau Funeral Home, where friends may call.
