THOMAS ALTON MATTINGLY - CLOVERPORT - Thomas Alton Mattingly, 89, died at his residence at 6:15 p.m. Friday, August 20 (s/b 21). He was a farmer. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Beulah Mattingly; three sons, Ambrose and Bernard Mattingly, both of Cloverport and Robert Mattingly, of Medford, Wisc.; three daughters, Mrs. Melissa Coomes, Hardinsburg; Mrs. Mamie Hudson, Louisville, and Mrs. Eva Garrett, Indianapolis; three half-brothers, W. P. Mattingly, Cloverport, and Hilary and Leo Mattingly, both of Louisville; two half-sisters, Miss Iva Mattingly, and Mrs. Elizabeth Pate, both of Cloverport; a foster son, Frank Cox, 12 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. The body is at the Harry Dhonau Funeral Home. Prayers will be said at 7 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Funeral services will be at 9 a.m. Monday at St. Rose Catholic Church, with burial in Calvary Cemetery.
