NEW HOPE - Valentina E. Schwenk, 95, of New Hope, formerly of Murdock, died Monday at St. Therese Care Center in New Hope.
Funeral services are tentatively set for 10 a.m. Friday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Murdock.
Funeral arrangements are pending with Jacobson-Zniewski Funeral Home in Benson.

Valentina was the fifth of twelve children of Valentine George Schaaf (1868-1940) and Caroline Elizabeth (Carrie) Jordan (1875-1967). Her name honors both her parents. She married Otto Nickalos Schwenk (1886-1950) on 21 Jan. 1921. The couple raised 7 children, 4 sons and 3 daughters.
