W. E. BURTON, 75, LONG IN REALTY, TAKEN BY DEATH
Wilmot E. Burton, 78, lifelong resident of Syracuse and former real estate man, died Thursday morning at his home, 1015 Spring street, from pneumonia.
Mr. Burton suffered a heart attack last Friday and shortly afterwards contracted pneumonia. He had been ailing for two years.
Mr. Burton was graduated form Hamilton college and was a member of the Sigma Phi fraternity. He was an active member of the First Ward Presbyterian church. He leaves two sisters, Mrs. Amelia F. Childs and Mrs. Helen Frost of Oswego.
The funeral will be from the family home Saturday morning at 10:30 o'clock and later at the First Ward Presbyterian church. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery.
