Thomas Darrow, 82, Madison, died Sunday, March 4, 1956, in a Madison hospital a few hours after suffering a heart attack.

Born Oct. 23, 1873, in the Town of Argyle, Lafayette County, he was the son of William and Fanny Lyons Darrow. He attended rural schools and was married Sept. 11, 1907, in Blanchardville to Mae McFarlane. They farmed in the area until moving to Madison in 1942.

Survivors include his wife; a son, Dr. Merle M. Darrow, Mt. Horeb; two daughters, Mrs. Morris (Marion) Olson and Mrs. Carl E. (LaVonne) Leitzke, both of Madison; two sisters, Mrs. William Cassidy of Mineral Point, and Mrs. Blanche Schoff of Rockford; Three brothers, David of Rockford, Joe of Argyle, and William of St. Petersburg, Fla., and three grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a brother and two sisters.

Services were held Wednesday, March 7, at 2 p.m. in Blanchardville Lutheran Church, Rev. Richard Torgerson officiating. Burial was in Graceland cemetery.

Saether's Funeral Parlors had charge of arrangements.
