Mrs. Mae M. Darrow, 79, Madison, died Thursday, Feb. 28, 1963, in a Madison hospital after a brief illness.

She was born in Daleyville on Sept. 22, 1883, and was the former Mae MacFarlane, the daughter of Dr. William M. MacFarlane and Sarah MacFarlane (Houns). She was married to Thomas J. Darrow in 1907 in Freeport and they farmed in the Yellowstone area until 1942 when they moved to Madison. Mr. Darrow died in 1956.

Funeral services were held Saturday at the Frautschi West Funeral Home, the Rev. Morris Wee officiating. Burial was in Graceland Cemetery, Blanchardville.

Surviving are one son, Dr. Merle M. Darrow, Mt. Horeb; two daughters, Mrs. Carl E. (LaVonne) Leitzke and Mrs. Morris (Marion) Olson, Madison; four grandchildren; two brothers, Drs W. I. MacFarlane and A. R. Houns, both of Tomahawk; two sisters, Mrs. Dorothy Farmer, Madison, and Mrs. Nadine Young, Milwaukee.
