Argyle- Funeral services for Mrs. William Darrow, 84, resident of this community for most of her life, who died Saturday in a Rockford hospital where she had ben confined for the past two weeks, were held today in the Fayette Methodist church. The Rev. E.P. Stone, pastor of the church, officiated and burial was in the Fayette cemetery.
A resident of this vicinity for 80 years, Fanny Lyons was born May 0., 1849. She was married to W.J. Darrow in Darlington Dec. 30, 1869.
Survivors are nine sons and daughters. They are J.D. Darrow, Argyle; Robert Darrow, Mineral Point; Mrs. James Ryan, Blanchardville; Mrs. Roy Schoss, Rockford; Mrs. William Cassidy, Blanchardville; Mrs. E.O. Mellon, Freeport; and Will Darrow, Evanston, Ill.; a sister, Mrs. Thomas Hoffin, Bryant, S.D.; two brothers, Dan Lyons, Wauzeka, and David, Freeport; and 16 grandchldren, and 18 great grandchildren.
