DUCKWORTH, Mrs. Carrie Nichols

Frostburg - Mrs. Carrie Duckworth, 74, of 244 East Main Street, died yesterday at miners Hospital. She was a daughter of the late James and Gertrude ( Trezise) Nichols and the widow of Lawson Duckworth. Surviving are five daughters, Mrs. Evelyn Burkhart, at home; Mrs. Don Graves, Winchester road; Mrs. Henry Kyles, Barton and Mrs. Kenneth Morgan, Klondyke: five sons, Wallace Duckworth, Baltimore, Melvin, Leslie and Edison Duckworth, Eckhart, and Raymond Duckworth, Winchester Road; three sisters, Mrs. Wesley Engle, Eckhart; Mrs. Raymond Centefonti, Baltimore, and Mrs. Amy Matthews, Johnstown, Pa.; two brothers, William Nichols, Morgantown, W. Va., and Edward Nichols, Baltimore; 30 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren. The body is at the Hafer Funeral Home, 60 West Main Street, where friends will be received from 7 until 9 p.m. today and from 2 until 4 and 7 until 9 p.m. tomorrow.
