Mrs. Rose Baggerly, 93, of Waverly died at Passavant hospital in Jacksonville at 5:30 a.m. Wednesday where she had been a patient a short time.
She was born in Morgan county Feb. 20, 1881, a daughter of Charles and Lucinda White Eldridge.
She married Judson Baggerly in 1898, and he preceded her in death in 1936.
She is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Ella Berndt of Waverly; Mrs. Iona Fishback of Springfield; Mrs. Grace Garrison of Burlington, Ia.; and Mrs. Frances Livingston of Beardstown; three brothers, Oren and Earl of Waverly and Charles of Jacksonville; 23 grandchildren, 70 great-grandchildren; and 16 great-great-grandchildren. Four sons preceded her in death.
She was a member of the Waverly United Methodist Church.
Funeral services were held at 2:30 p.m. Friday at the Neece Funeral Home, Rev. Wolford Price officiating. Interment in Waverly Cemetery. (Obituary thanks to Shirley FAG 48377200)
