Harry Lester Baggerly, of Auburn, died Suddenly at his home Wednesday, Oct. 22, at 11:00 p.m., at the age of 54 years. He had been in poor health for some time.
Mr. Baggerly was born at Waverly May 8, 1904, a son of Judson and Rose Baggerly.
He is survived by his wife, the former Merle Garrison, whom he married January 26, 1924; his mother, of Waverly; four sons, Harold of Palmyra, Mo., Judson of Kansas City, Mo., Jack, in the Army in Germany and Harry, at home; three daughters, Mrs. Betty Graegin of Hessville, Ind., Mrs. Donna Hock of Springfield and Mrs. Margaret Silvens of Auburn; two brothers, Frank of Denver, Colo., and Julian of Springfield; four sisters, Mrs. Florence Livingston of Beardstown, Mrs. Iona Stanberry of Springfield, Mrs. Ella Berndt of Waverly and Mrs. Grace Garrison of Lankton, Iowa.
The remains are at the Neece Funeral Home in this city. As the Journal goes to press funeral arrangements are incomplete.
