Howard Davis Retired Railway Employee Dies

Howard Davis, 79, of Stewardson died at 10 AM Monday in St. Anthony Memorial Hospital, where he had been a patient recently on two different occasions. He was a retired section hand of the Nickel Plate railroad.

Surviving are his brothers, Everett and Emery, both of Stewardson, and Arthur of Mode, sisters, Mrs. Bertha Miller of Stewardson, Mrs. Stroud and Mrs. Russ both of Cowden.

The body is at the Brummerstedt Funeral Home where friends may call after 6 PM today. Services will be at the funeral home at 1 PM Wednesday with burial following in the Mound Cemetery.
