Stewardson - Funeral services for Everett L. Davis will be held at 2:00 pm Tuesday, in Brummerstedt Funeral Home, Stewardson. Burial will be in Stewardson Cemetery. Friends may call from 7 to 9 PM today in the funeral home.

Mr. Davis, 83, of Stewardson, died at 7:20 PM Saturday in Shelby County Hospital, Shelbyville. He was born in Missouri.

Surviving are his widow, Violet; three daughters, Mrs. Ruby Schniederjan of Decatur, Mrs. Ruby Arthur of Mode and Mrs. Opal Nelson of Stewardson; five sons, Emery of Mundelin, Charles and Virgil, both of Chicago, Floyd of Charleston, and Gary of Stewardson; a brother, Arthur of Cowden; two sisters, Mrs. Mattie Tarrant of Effingham, and Mrs. Lottie Stroud of Farina; 26 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.
