Their children are: Nathan Lagree, Joseph Alton, Edna Lema, Loyce Varnice, Linnie Odile, Laster Cleo "LC", Callie Mae & William Oliver Jr.

Jonesboro, Dec. 18 (Special) -- Funeral services for Mrs. W. O. Ewing, Sr., 75, who died at her home in Chatham Thursday morning after a long illness, will be held at 3 p.m. Friday at the Chatham Methodist Church. The Rev. J. T. Garrett, pastor, will officiate.
Burial will be in the Chatham Cemetery under the direction of the Edmonds Funeral Home of Jonesboro.
Mrs. Ewing was a lifelong resident of the Chatham area. Her son, N. L. Ewing of Jonesboro, is a former state legislature representative from Jackson Parish. A daughter is the wife of Judge H. W. Ayres, recently elected to the court of appeals.
She is survived by her husband, W. O. Ewing, Sr., Chatham; three other sons, L. W. Ewing of Jonesboro, J. A. Ewing of Chatham, and W. O. Ewing, Jr., of Natchitoches; four daughters, Mrs. Ayres of Jonesboro, Mrs. W. M. Green and Mrs. M. S. Wright of Shreveport and Mrs. J. R. Waites of Delhi; one brother, Levi May of Monroe.
