Headline: Services Held Tuesday For Mrs. Loyce Waites
Funeral services for Mrs. Loyce Waites, age 60, of Delhi were held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, January 23, at Delhi Methodist Church with burial in Chatham Cemetery under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home. Mrs. Waites died Sunday night in a Delhi Clinic after a brief illness. Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Mrs. John W. Wilson of Monroe and Miss Constance Loyce Waites of Delhi; her father, William Oliver, Sr., of Chatham; four brothers, Nathan L. Ewing and L. C. Ewing, both of Jonesboro; J. Alton Ewing of Chatham and W. O. Ewing Jr., of Houston, Texas; three sisters, Mrs. H. W. Ayres and Mrs. W. M. Green, both of Shreveport and Mrs. M. S. Wright of Houston, Texas, and one granddaughter.
