Alta A. Trone

YORK – Alta A. Seacrist Trone, 92, of Spring Garden Township, died at 12:13 p.m. Tuesday at Colonial Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in York. She was the wife of the late Chester E. Seacrist and the late Frederick A. Trone.
The service will be 10 a.m. Friday at the Baumeister, Orcutt and Small Mortuaries Inc., South Queen and Jackson streets, York. Burial will be in St. Paul's (Dubs') Cemetery in Manheim Township. Viewing will be 9 to 10 a.m. Friday at the mortuary.
Mrs. Trone was born September 30, 1907, in Manheim Township. She was the daughter of the late Jacob and Clara (Gibbons) Wagner.
She was a charter member of Luther Memorial Lutheran Church and a member of Daughters of the Nile in Altoona and Altoona Chapter of Story League.
Mrs. Trone is survived by two daughters, Sidney A. Frye and Deborah S. Kaufhold, both of York; three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren, and a sister, Abbie W. Wallick of York.
Officiating at the service will be her pastor, the Rev. Patricia A. Snyder.

YORK COUPLE WED IN HANOVER PARSONAGE

C. Elwood Seacrist, son of Mrs. Anna M. Seacrist, 137 Edgar Street, and Miss Alta Wagner, 269 West Cottage Place, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jacob K. Wagner, near Jefferson, were married Saturday evening by Rev. A. M. Hollinger, pastor of the West Manheim Reformed charge. The ring ceremony was performed at the parsonage.
Mr. and Mrs. Seacrist will reside at 137 Edgar Street. The bridegroom is Employed at Eisenlohr Cigar Factory.
