Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral services Thursday, at 2 p.m., at the Baumeister and Orcutt Colonial Mortuary, South Queen and Jackson Streets. Interment in St. Jacob's Cemetery, York New Salem.

Mrs. Minerva E. Strausbaugh
Mrs. Minerva E. Strausbaugh, 85, widow of Curtis Strausbaugh, formerly of York RD 8, died Monday at 7:30 a.m. at the residence of her son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Guy Strausbaugh Sr., 442 E. Walnut St., York, where she made her home the past two years.
She was born in York County, daughter of the late Jacob K. and Clara Gibbons Wagner.
She was a member of St. Jacob's Lutheran Church, York New Salem; Golden Age Club of the church, and Ladies Auxiliary of York New Salem Co.
Surviving also is another son, Roman C. Strausbaugh, Box 164, Emigsville; two daughters, Mrs. Norman Smith, Mifflintown RD 2, and Mrs. Lucy C. Green, York RD 8; 17 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Charles Wagner, Crestview Trailer Court, and Norman Wagner, Spring Grove RD 2, and six sisters, Mrs. Sarah Jones, 1432 W. Philadelphia St.; Mrs. Emma Thoman and Mrs. Elsie Glatfelter, both of Glen Rock; Mrs. Margie Wolf, Hanover; Mrs. Abbie Wallick, 269 W. Cottage Place, and Mrs. Alta Trone, Altoona, Pa.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Baumeister and Orcutt Colonial Mortuary, South Queen and Jackson streets. Her pastor, the Rev. Donald G. Nice, will officiate. Burial will be in St. Jacob's Church Cemetery, York New Salem.

Private Curtis E. Strausbaugh, of the 112th infantry, located at Camp Hancock, Ga., and Miss Minerva E. Wagner, of Sinsheim, were married Monday noon by Alderman N. C. May, of the Fifth Ward, this city. The ceremony was performed in the alderman's office, West Market Street.
Private Strausbaugh's home is in North Codorus Township, this county, and he left York for camp with the old Company K, Eighth regiment, Pennsylvania National Guard.
