Abbie W. Wallick
YORK – Abbie W. Wallick, 97, died at 2:15 a.m. Friday at York Hospital. She was the wife of the late Kenneth M. Wallick.
Following cremation, a memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, February 17th at Baumeister, Orcutt & Small Mortuaries, Inc., South Queen at Jackson Street, with her Interim Pastor, Rev. William Sowers, officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Rose Cemetery. Visitation will be 9 to 10:30 a.m.
Born September 30, 1905 in Manheim Township, York County, a daughter of the late Jacob K. and Clara Ann (Gibbons) Wagner, she was a long time member of Saint Paul's Lutheran Church.
Mrs. Wallick is survived by a son, Kenneth M. Wallick, Jr., of York; a granddaughter, Julia D. Wallick of Smyrna, Ga.; and a number of nieces and nephews.

HANOVER, April 5 – The Rev. A. M. Hollinger, pastor of the West Manheim Lutheran charge, performed five marriages within five hours Saturday.
The first, at the parsonage on Pleasant Street, took place at 3 p.m. when Miss Abbie Wagner, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Wagner, Spring Grove RD 4, and Kenneth M. Wallick, 503 South Pine Street, York, were married. The ring ceremony was used.
They were attended by the parents of the bridegroom. Mr. Wallick is employed as compositor at the York Dispatch Publishing Company. The couple will reside with the bridegroom’s parents.
