"Peggy" is the daughter of Seaborn Benjamin Posey Sr. and Candia Lou Ellard. They had nine children: Clarence, Seborn, Jr., Dallas, Arthur, Ida, Mattie, Willie, George, and Florence.

After her mother died in 1916, she and her younger sisters were sent to the Baptists Children's Home. They show up on the 1920 U.S. Federal Census as being at the Home. As the girls got older, they went to live with older relatives.

She married Malcolm Parsons on 12 Jul 1930 in Bessemer, Jefferson, Alabama, USA. Sadly she died of TB.

Funeral services for Mrs. Estelle Parsons, who died yesterday after a long illness in a Birmingham hospital, were to be held at 2:30 p.m. today from the home of her sister, Mrs. Clay Armstrong, 389 Dartmouth Ave. with Rev. M.K. Thornton officiating. Burial was in Sadler Cemetery, Jacobs in charge.
Surviving are three sisters, Mrs. James White, Mrs. Clay Armstrong and Mrs. James Atkinson, and four brothers, Dowell (should be Dal), Seab, Arthur and George Posey.[From an unknown Birmingham newspaper]
