He first married Sarah Scott on 22 Feb 1882 in Blount County, Alabama, USA. They had two known children: Ambrose and Alice.
After Sarah died, he married Candia Lou Ellard (1871-1916). They had nine known children: Clarence, Seaborn, Dallas, Arthur, Ida, Mattie, Willie, George and Florence.
Seaborn committed suicide by drinking carbolic acid (per his death certificate).
It is believed there is a baby buried in the plot with Candia. This was told to me by a family member.
