North - Funeral services for Lou Ellen Jeffcoat, 90, of North, will be held at 4 p.m., Tuesday, Aug. 24, 2004, at Ebenezer United Methodist Church with the Revs. David Anderson, Brian Jeffcoat, and James McGee officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Mrs. Jeffcoat died Sunday, Aug. 22. She was born in Orangeburg County, a daughter of the late William Henry and Anne Lou Harley Jeffcoat. She was a member and former treasurer of Ebenezer United Methodist Church. She was retired from Stone Manufacturing Company. Mrs. Jeffcoat was married to the late Howard Livingston Jeffcoat and was predeceased by a daughter, Frances Whetstone. Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Beverly and James Fogle, of Easley; two sons and daughters-in-law, Hillary and Mamie Jeffcoat, of Tuscaloosa, Ala., Ben Aubrey and Betty Jeffcoat, of Sumter; four sisters, Evelyn Smith, of Columbia, Joann Boone, of Lexington, Rebecca Calvitt, of Blythewood, and Leila Carson, of Neeses; 10 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m., Tuesday at Ebenezer United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall, and other times at the home, 2211 Ninety-Six Road, North.
