LORENE F. WHITE

Lorene F. White, 76, of Clarence, Mo., died Thursday, Nov. 2, at 10:30 a.m. in the Salt River Nursing Home, Shelbina.

Mrs. White was born Aug. 9, 1919 in Randolph County, a daughter of the late Floyd and Mary Hunt Barron.

She had worked many years at Brown Shoe Co. and had been a housekeeper for several area residents. She was also a member of Felps Prebyterian Church.

On Jan. 18, 1936, she married Charles W. White at Rucker, Mo. and he preceded her in death Dec. 12, 1975.

She was also preceded in death by a son, Billy Wayne White and a brother, Ronald Barron.

She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Jerry and Shirley White of Shelbina; seven brothers - Alfred Barron, of Macon, Virgil Barron, of Markham, Illinois, Vernis Barron, of Madison, Muriel Barron, Gerald Barron and Ralph Barron, all of Moberly, and Frank Barron of St. Louis; five sisters - Wilma Randsell, Moberly, Viola Ware, of Higbee, Lula Bell Huntsman, Moberly, Gladys Johnson, New Franklin and Mable Riley, of Centralia; close friend, Maupin Lucas, Clarence, Mo.; three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be Saturday, 1:30 p.m. in the Cater Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Perche Cemetery, with Rev. Thomas Downey officiating.
Visitation will be Friday, 5 to 8 p.m. at Cater's.
