MABLE IRENE RILEY
Mable Irene Riley, 76, of Clark, formerly of Centralia, died Sunday, August 25, 2002, at columbia Regional hospital in Columbia.
She was born September 11, 1925 in Randolph county, the daughter of Floyd and Mary Elizabeth Hunt Barron. On November 10, 1941, she married Henry Johnson Riley in Macon, and he preceded in death.
Survivors include five daughters, Betty Jean Colley of Clark, Mary Lee Hess and Rita Fay Hartley, both of Columbia, and Carolyn Kay Dawson and Helen Ann Cook, both of Centralia; one son, Billy Gene Riley of Columbia; five brothers, Vernis Barron of Madison, Virgil Barron of Markham, Ill., Frank Barron of St. Louis, Gerald Barron, and Muriel Barron, both of Moberly; one sister Gladys Johnson of Moberly; 18 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
She also was preceded in death by one daughter, Martha Sue Allen on May 7, 2002; one granddaughter, Lisa Hess Trester; threee brothers and four sisters.
Mrs. Riley was a member of the Liberty Baptist Church in Hallsville.
Services will be held at 2:30 p.m., Wednesday, August 28 at the Fenton Funeral Chapel in Centralia, with the Rev. Bruce Caldwell officiating. Interment is a Chapel Grove Cemetery in Clark. Pallbearers will be grandsons, Billy Colley, Bobby Colley, Tony Hess, Michael Cook, Travis Cook and Derek Hartley.
Memorials are suggested to Liberty Baptist or the American Diabetes Association.
