Muriel D. Barron, 76, of Moberly died Monday, June 10, 2019. He was born February 26, 1943 in Vandalia, MO to Floyd and Mary Elizabeth (Hunt) Barron.

Muriel married Betty Pauline Rettinghaus on May 19, 1961 in Higbee and she survives. Also surviving are his children; David Eugene Barron and wife Florence of Lexington, MO, Theresa Barron Jackson and her husband Kenneth of Moberly, Danny Barron of Madison, MO, Pearl Ann Newbrough and her husband Christopher of Mexico, MO and Rusty Lyle Barron and his wife Cindy of Hartsell, CO, four grandchildren, one great-grandchild, a brother, Gerald Wayne Barron and his wife Donna of Caledonia, MO, his fur babies "Kids"; Buddy (first daddy), Peewee(second daddy), Gracie, Lollypop and Yappie.

He was preceded in death by his parents, six brothers and six sisters.

Muriel loved his furbabies and called them his "kids", but he especially loved being with his family.

Services honoring and celebrating Muriel's life were held at Cater Funeral Home Chapel. Committal prayers and burial were in the Huntsville City Cemetery.
