RALPH H. BARRON
Ralph Henderson Barron, 78, of Moberly died at 3:20 p.m. Monday in Moberly Regional Medical Center.
Born Sept. 22, 1917, in Randolph County, he was a son of Floyd and Mary Hunt Barron.
Mr. Barron, who owned and operated a sanitation truck for a number of years, lived in the area most of his life. He was a member of the First Assemby Church of Christ. He was preceded in death by a son, Donald; one sister, Lorene White; and one brother, Ronald Barron.
Surviving are his wife, Lena Mae, whom he married Aug. 17, 1962 in Moberly; son, Robert Barron, Cole Camp; two step-sons, Larry Lanham, Sacramento, Calif., and Dale Lanham, Denver, Colo.; one daughter, Debbie Messer, Callao; two step-daughters; Sherry Current, Columbia, and Georgia Slater, Macon; six brothers; Alfred, of Macon; Bernis, of Madison; Virgil of Markham, Ill.; Jerald and Muriel of Moberly; Everett of St. Louis; five sisters; Viola Mae Ware, Higbee; Mabel I. Riley, Centralia; Wilma L. Ransdall and Lula Bell Huntsman, both of Moberly; and Gladys V. Johnson, New Franklin; 10 grandchildren, 13 step-grandchildren, several great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Million-Taylor-Patton Funeral Home in Moberly with Rev. Wally Landrum of Coates Street Presbyterian Church officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 6 until 8 p.m. Wednesday at Million-Taylor-Patton Funeral Home in Moberly.
