Lois Betz Craft was born January 3, 1911 in Clifton Forge, Va. to Philip Eakin Craft and Lucy Naomi Dollman Craft.
She married Bernard Clifton Harris on July 4, 1929. Lois and Bernard lived in Staunton, Va. for several years and later resided in Richmond, Va. They had two daughters.
Lois worked for Miller and Rhoads. She was a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother. She was noted for her wit and charm and had a great sense of humor.
Mrs. Lois Craft Harris, widow of Bernard C. Harris of Richmond, formerly of Staunton, Va., died Tuesday, Sept. 15, 1987.
She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Janet H. Painter and Mrs. Joyce H. Super, both of Richmond, Va.; two sisters, Mrs. Goldie Stephens of Richmond, and Mrs. Ruth Drewry of Covington, Ky.; three brothers, Hugh W. Craft and Dennis K. Craft, both of Roanoke, Va. and Harry T. Craft of Charlottesville; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Harris was retired from Miller and Rhoads.
Remains rest at Bennett Funeral Home, where services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday with interment in Greenwood Memorial Gardens.
