Philip Jackson Craft, age 69, died Thursday at his home. He was born in Springwood, VA, April 20, 1907, son of the late Philip E. Craft and Lucy Dollman Craft. He was a retired conductor for the C&O Railway Co.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Gladys Via Craft, Clifton Forge; three daughters, Mrs. Thomas Nicely, Mrs. W. W. Pugh, Jr., both of Clifton Forge; Mrs. Joe R. Armentrout, Waynesboro; four sisters, Mrs. Lewis Layne, Alexandria; Mrs. John W. Stephens, Jr., Mrs. Bernard Harris, both of Richmond; Mrs. N. W. Drewry, Covington, KY; three brothers, Dennis K. Craft, Hugh W. Craft, both of Roanoke; Harry T. Craft, Charlottesville; ten grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren.

Funeral will be at 3:00pm Saturday at Nicely Funeral Home Chapel, by the Rev. Robert Bridgers. Interment will be in Mt. View Cemetery, Clifton Forge, VA
