Glenn Lanam


Glenn J. Lanam, R. 5, died in an automobile crash south of Bloomington Tuesday evening. Lanam, a farmer and former stone quarry and stone mill worker was 64.

A native of Brown County, he was the son of Solomon and Mary E. Heckman Lanam. He was a member of the Smithville Christian Church, Masonic Lodge, Scottish Rite and the Order of the Eastern Star.

Survivors include his wife, Helen, a foster daughter, Mrs. Mary Hall, 316 E. Dodds, and two sisters, Mrs. Reba Stewart, Bedford, and Mrs. Elizabeth Campbell, Madison.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the Day Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Clear Creek Cemetery. Friends may call after 7:30 p.m. today.

, R. 5, who died Tuesday evening in an automobile crash south of Bloomington. Funeral will be 2 p.m. Friday at the Day Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Clear Creek Cemetery. The Rev. B. L. Wilson, Indianapolis, will officiate. Music will be provided by Mrs. Martha Sylvester and Gilbert Farmer. Active pallbearers will be Ed Campbell, Ed Bennett, Charles Watson, Fred Stewart, Howard Brummett, and Ollie Rowlett.

Honorary pallbearers will be Jack Henderson, Joe Hanson, Chester Brummett, Hobart Robinson, Ordie Swango, Frank H. Watson, Leslie McFadden, Oren Stigall, and Marshall Barrett. Friends may call at Day Funeral Home until time for the service.
